Look Me Up On Facebook

I have a couponing Facebook page that was formerly Couponing For My Cause and I have changed the name to Evansville Bargain Shopping Mom.  So if your on Facebook look me up and "like" me.  I'm getting more internet savvy so I plan to do a lot posting on Facebook while I'm "in the field."  If I'm at Target and I see a great bargain I'm going to post it immediately on my facebook page first with photos and then later on the blog when I get home.  The Facebook page will be more fun too with lots of in the moment tips and tricks to couponing.  And I will be doing it all from my iPhone! I Just Got $55 in Free Photos at Sears

I took my almost 3 year-old to get his birthday photos taken at Sears today and a lady in the waiting area told me that last year so bought just one sheet of prints of her sons pictures and then went home and got a bunch more FREE online by using different coupon codes.  So I tried the same thing today and it worked.  I got the basic package they had at the studio and then went home and brought up our portrait studio photos and then google "sears portrait coupon codes."  I found this great site HERE that had a ton of coupon codes.  I ended up getting $55 more in prints for FREE and I did pay $5 in shipping.  I'm so excited.  I had no idea. I've googled coupon codes for many things in the past but I never thought to do it for portrait photos.  Now I'm paying the tip forward and hopefully this will help someone else save some money

Another Hallmark $5 off Coupon for Hallmark stores

I can't believe they keep releasing these coupons but I'm loving it.  Go HERE to print another $5 off any $10 purchase or more at participating Hallmark stores.  I know the one in the mall is taking them.

My Target Trip

I couldn't wait to long to see if I could use those new apparel coupons.  The North Park Target still has sleepwear clearance under $5.  I found 2 nightshirts priced $3.74 and a tank top priced $3.54.  I used my $3 off any sleepwear coupon to get them all for under $1 each.  I also found a cute grey shirt for $1.24 after I used the $5 off any plus size apparel item.  There was a rack of 75% and 50% plus size clothing that would be great to use the coupon on.  I had a hard time finding any jeans to use the $5 off any denim bottom coupon on. The last time I was at the East side Target they had a ton of clearance so that may be the better store to use your coupons at.

New Target Coupons Are Up

Target released some new coupons which included 9 different apparel coupons.  I love the apparel coupons because it oftens equals FREE clothes.  So go HERE to print these coupon quickly.

1 Insert this Sunday

The Sunday Coupon Preview is reporting that there will be one insert this Sunday which is a P&G.  But others blogs are reporting a Target and Walmart insert in some markets but I'm pretty sure we will not receive this.  To see what coupons are in the paper go HERE.

This was a Converse One Star shirt on clearance for $5.24 and I had a $5 off catalina that printed a month ago which made it $.24

These were built in bra sleep shirts on clearance for $3.74 and I used the $3 off any women's sleepwear item which made them $.74 each.  These clothing coupons are located at http://www.target.com/ I'm not sure if they are still up but if you previously print them back when I had posted about it then you will find a bunch of clearance sleepwear to use them on at the North Park and east side Target.

$.75 Post Cereal at Schnucks

Schnucks has select Post cereal on sale for 5/$10.  You can get them for $.75 using the scenario below until Sunday. I was able to do this myself today so I know this deal works. 

Buy 4 boxes of select Post cereal on sale for $10/5
use 2 of the $1/2 coupon in the 11/6 SS
there is also a $1.50 off 1 Marshmallow Pebbles in the Nov. All You magazine
Your total will come to $6 and then you will get a $3 catalina which makes the 4 boxes $.75 each

but then...repeat this transaction with 4 more boxes and roll over the catalina and you OOP will be $3.  You can roll this catalina over as many times as you want or for as many coupons as you have.

My Walgreens trip yesterday

This was my first Walgreens trip.  I made another one after this and I'm actually on my way there again to get the Right Guard Deodorant!

My CVS Trip

This was my first CVS trip.  My husband and I both have cards so made 2 trips through CVS but I didn't go until 7am so they were sold out of some items.  I mostly needed oral care items so I was happy.

A new coupon popped up last night for $1/2 Right Guard Deodorant Total Defense HERE.  You can use this coupon for the Black Friday sale at Walgreens where they are currently 2/$6 with a $4 RR. So they will be $.50 each after coupon and RR.

FREE Ecotrin

I was able to get 13 boxes of Ecotrin (46 count) for FREE a Walgreens today.  It is on sale for $.99 and there is a $1.50 coupon in the 10/2 RP.  The cashier did need to price down the coupon but it still made it FREE.  You can also price match this at Walmart and keep the overage to go towards other items.  My mom takes one of these pills every day for a heart condition so I was able to stock her up for almost 2 years today and they do not expire until 4/2013. 

I'm Exhausted...how about you?

I have coupon shopped and shopped today.  I have stockpiled, got moneymakers and even some half price toys.  Oh yeah, and I had Thanksgiving lunch with my family.  And then I went and shopped some more.  I ran into some fellow couponers as well.  Hi Lori, who I met at Walgreens on St. Joe.  It was nice to meet you and thanks for reading my blog. So I'm excited to hear how everyone did.  I will be posting my deals here on the blog as soon as I get photos taken.  I certainly learned some news ways to better organize myself for next year.  This is only my second year doing the Thanksgiving sale at the drug stores and I did much better this year but I was still not as organized as I should have been.  Splitting up transactions to have as little OOP was my biggest issue.  But I had fun and had no issues with coupon "beep-age" and nasty cashiers.  I do think that this year there were more trial/sample size products where last year it was more full size products.  So that was a little disappointing.  CVS had a great idea to group the items in a bin which was nice and the Walgreens on St. Joe had nice big green signs to alert you to the FREE deals. Last year you had to run through the store to find each item.  I still had to do some of that but not too bad.  So what did you guys think???

Hi to all the new people reading this blog.  My name is Mary and you may have seen me on the news last night talking about couponing here in the Evansville area.  I love couponing and sharing tips and deals even more.  I hope you check back often. I post links to coupons often and report any deals on clearance or coupon match-ups that I find locally.  I always encourage everyone who reads this blog to also post their tips and deals too so we can all help each other out and share the coupon joy.  So welcome! These deals are posted by Wild for Wags who I trust and does an excellent job at thinking everything through.  If your able to get everything on the list then you will essentially get paid $11.93 for buying $81.57 in products.  No Joke!  If your new to couponing then this is an excellent time to get started and begin a stockpile.  Hope I see you guys there!!!

Beechnut Baby Food coupons

www.couponnetwork.com had a bunch of Beechnut baby cereal and baby food coupons up.  I was able to print these 3 times per computer.  I rarely see these coupons so I hope there are some moms reading this right who are happy to get some cheaper baby food. 

My K-Mart Shopping Trip

My Total for this trip was $10.51.  I saved $16.79.  The Sierra Mist 2 liters were free with the $.55 off coupon from the 11/13 SS.  The Kmart is Henderson is sold out of all varieties of these now but should get another shipment in on Thursday.  The Edge shave gel was $.50 after the $.75 printable (no longer available) coupon I had that doubled.  The Martha White muffin mix was on sale for $1 and I used the $.55/2 coupons from the 11/13 RP which made them $.45 each.  I budget 8 packages of Betty Crocker peanut butter cookie mix which was on sale for $1.79 and I used the $.40 coupon from the 10/2 GM which made them just under one dollar each.  I'll be using these to make cookie for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Shopping the double coupon week was exactly what I expected which was not much.  The everyday prices are so high that you are better off using your coupons at Walmart even though they will not double. 

BUT, I also was able to pick up these awesome coupon booklets full of manufacturer coupons.

I noticed there is an awesome $.50/2 coupon for Stovetop.

Stovertop is on sale for $.86 at Target this week so I just might use my coupon there.

No Double Coupon Week at Buehlers

I checked their online ad and this will not be a double coupon week.  The management had told me that they will do double coupons one week a month and they have not had one yet in November (from my memory).  next week is not a full week in November so that's why I thought it would be this week.  I did see on a sign outside of Buehlers that they will be having a Friday sale.  I hope that they will not do double coupons on just that one day.  I guess we will just keep waiting and see.  I will have coupon matchups for Buehlers current sale soon.

I Couponed Through the Mall Yesterday

I had some much fun couponing my way through the mall yesterday.  First I started at the Hallmark store where I had a $5 off a $10 purchase or more that was in my new Parents magazine.  I gave that coupon to my mom because she found a Wizard of Oz salt and pepper shaker for $14.  So it was $9 after the coupon!  Then I was off to Old Navy where I had $20 is Super Cash from their sale 2 weeks ago.  I bought 2 shirts for my oldest son and 10 pairs of socks for my youngest.  My total was $40 and then $20 after coupons and some tax which comes to a 50% savings! My last stop was Baby Gap.  I found a super cute shirt for $14 that was on sale for 40% off and was able to stack the $5 coupon code from their Facebook page.  I ended up paying just over $3.  Funny thing is I never used any of the coupons for a Christmas gift. 

Double Coupon Week at Kmart

Starting today until the 23rd Kmart will double your coupons up to $.99 and it is UNLIMITED.  You will need a Shop Your Way Rewards card which you can get immediately at the customer service desk.  A Full Cup has quite a few coupon match-ups for you so Go HERE to check them out.  I won't be able to go until Tuesday and will have a post for you of what I was able to get.

I Just Ordered $8.31 in Coupon Online

Have you ever bought coupons online?  I do occasionally, especially before a holiday season. Last time I did was a couple weeks before July 4th.  I just bought $8.31 in coupons from www.thecouponclippers.com

I bought over 70 coupons from Target store coupon for Pampers wipes to Colgate toothpaste.  I do this because we don't always get those nice high value coupons that other markets get.  For example, we rarely get Colgate or Johnson & Johnson coupons.

Other great sites to get coupons are www.ebay.com and www.thecouponmaster.com
