Pepsi Coupons

GO HERE to print a variety of Pepsi product coupons.  These are also the coupons that are suppose to be in our Sunday's paper.  If we don't get them, then at least we were able to print them off but I'm pretty sure we will get this insert. When it asked for a zip code I put in 47715 and the coupons pulled up so that's a good sign.

Giveaway Winner

Congrats to Melissa for being the first person to email me.  She'll be enjoying a FREE steak dinner at Outback this month.  Thanks everyone for responding!

Time for a Giveaway!!!

The first person who emails me at marymwirtz@yahoo.com will get a coupon for a FREE steak dinner at Outback Steakhouse!!!  The coupon states that it is good for one steak dinner and one side and can be used Monday through Thursday. It expires at the end of October.  I'm not so much of a meat eater so I'm glad to pass this awesome coupon along to one of you.  GOOD LUCK!

Last day to print coupons

Today is the day to print all the coupons you want before they disappear.  And then tomorrow I can have some new posts on all the new coupons!  Some may reset also so you can get 2 prints today and 2 more tomorrow.

What coupons will be in Sunday's paper?

We may possible get 6 inserts in this Sunday's paper.  A Red Plum, Smartsource, P&G, Pepsi Moments to Save, General Mills, and Playskool.  If we are really, really lucky we might get all 6 but we will probably get 4.  We should place our bets now on it.  If you want to see what coupons are in these inserts then GO HERE.

Double coupons

Double coupon week at Buy-Low will be here soon.  Now is the time to print and collect any coupons that will get you a FREE or super cheap product when doubled.  Just wanted to remind everyone.  As I see a coupon in the newspaper or online I cut them out and put them in a separate envelope marked Buy-Low.  Then once the ad comes out I cross my fingers that my coupons will match to a sale.

Geez, I just realized this is all junk food!

A small coupon tip

I follow a lot of different blogs and exchange emails regularly with other bloggers and many of us have noticed a trend with coupons running out of prints within a day or so of the Extreme Couponing Show airing.  There was a new show tonight and I'm sitting here going to my coupon sites to make sure I print what I need just in case and my tip is for you to do the same.

Want to know where coupon go after you redeem them?

I came across this article that explains the redemption process the retail store goes through to get their money back for each coupon we use.  It's good to know and interesting to learn the whole life cycle of a coupon.  GO HERE to read the article.  There is also a video with Susan Powell on redeeming coupons which must be really old.  I use to watch her show in the 90's I believe.

Consignment Sale this Weekend

The Twice As Nice Consignment sale will be this weekend at the National Guard Armory in Evansville.  Check out their website HERE.  It starts on Friday, from  9am-7pm and then Saturday from 8am - 12pm.  They will have a half price sale from 1-4pm on Saturday. There is a admission of $1.

I'm a consignor this year and took about a dozen items mostly because I wanted to get the early shopping passes for being a consignor.  Although I have never actually been to any of these sales but I give the passes to my sons therapists who need to find good toys at cheap prices for all the kiddos they work with.

CVS New Coupon Policy

CVS has a brand new corporate coupon policy so I'd advise everyone to print it off and have it with you.  I know several people have had issues with cashiers at CVS and part of it is because of the new changes and the lack of communication between managers and cashiers.  GO HERE to see and print the new policy.

There are several points that are important to point out:

Competitor coupons are not accepted at CVS/pharmacy.

CVS/pharmacy does not currently accept coupon bar code images displayed on a smartphone, iPhone, Droid etc.

The total value of the coupons may not exceed the value of the transaction.

CVS/pharmacy reserves the right to process coupons in any order (this one kinda bites)

The coupon amount will be reduced if it exceeds the value of the item after other discounts or coupons are applied. (For example, a $5.00 coupon for a $4.99 item will result in a $4.99 coupon value).

CVS/pharmacy accepts valid internet/print at home coupons containing a barcode

Now the policy does not cover what the rule is regarding B1G1 FREE sale and using a coupon on each item but I did find on the Q/A section of their wesbite the following:

Does CVS/pharmacy allow more than 1 coupon to be used per transaction?
A. Yes. CVS/pharmacy allows ONE CVS/pharmacy and ONE third party manufacturer coupon per item. A transaction is defined as the entirety of purchases on a single receipt. ExtraBucks® Rewards coupons can be applied toward the final cost. Normal exclusions apply. See the bottom of the ExtraBucks® Rewards coupon for details.
Note: Coupons cannot be applied to a "free" item.

So apparently CVS will no longer allow you to use 2 coupons on B1G1 FREE sales as it states that coupons can NOT be applied to the FREE item.  That super sucks.

Double Coupon Week at Kmart

Kmart is having a double coupon week again and this time they are not limiting how many coupons you can use.  Although you are limited to 4 "like" coupons in one transactions.  The Henderson store seems to be participating from their online ad.  Collin at Hip2save.com has a good write up on all the rules (and there are a lot at Kmart) and also some coupon matchups.  GO HERE to see her article.  Also, GO HERE to see this weeks Kmart Ad.

My Walmart trip today

YES!  I got all these clothes for $27.82, all being $1 each.  I did the math and if I had paid the full price for everything then it would have been $192.50.  That's about a 85% savings.  I bought up for my little boy and future birthday gifts for my nieces and nephews.  I also found a few things for myself.  My boys gave out on me otherwise I would have shopped much longer but my mom is now shopping for me and herself.  So I can't wait to hear about all her good buys.  I love clearance.

$1 Apparel Clearance at Walmart

I just left the West side Walmart where they put up[ signs that all red clearance priced apparel is $1.  OK, now the signs are in the baby section but there is tons of clearance throughout the store, mens, womens, sleepwear, etc. and my cashier over-rided the price on every item to $1.  SO GO NOW, because this is an awesome price to stock up for next year.  I will post a picture soon.  I think there is some confusion about this among the employees at the store because I had one employee tell me that the womens clearance was not included but the cashier said it was and priced it that way.  So you might want to check about that. AWESOME deals!!! I had so much fun going through all the clothes.  Like a shopping spree.

New grocery Store on North Side

I was driving down Morgan Ave and saw that the old Wesselmans grocery store next to the CVS is now becoming a Ruler grocery store.  I know that there is another one of these stores in Princeton.  They sell Kroger brand name products and does have a store card but not a Kroger card.  Once it opens I will check it out and report any couponing possibilities for us all.

Need to save money on Gas?

Are you like me where you constantly watch the gas prices and try to be strategic with gasing up on the right day to get the cheapest price?  I want to save that extra penny or 2.  My mom told me about a gas station next to Marina Point (literally off the Ohio River) and in front of the LST boat.  This gas station I believe is geographically in Kentucky so it has Kentucky low tax prices.  On Sunday gas was $3.18 there.  I was able to gas up on Tuesday and it was $3.34.  Just wanted to pass this on for anyone who could use some cheaper gas.

New Razor Coupons

Coupons.com has several great Schick coupons which will get you free products with a sale.  The $6/2 disposable Schick coupon may get you the product free at Walmart.  It's being reported on other blogs that a 12 pack is $1.97 at Walmart which would make 2 packs free with over $2 in overage.  Print these quick because they will go fast!!!

Couponing for an Apocalypse?

I saw the movie Contagion today which was very good.  I also saw 2 shows last week on the History channel and TLC regarding preparing for an apocalypse.  One was a 2 hour theatrical scenario of "what ifs" and the other was a documentary on 4 different couples who go to extremes preparing for what they believe is the end of the world coming.  One thing that stood out for me with each show I saw is that if any of these people were couponers then they would at least have food, water, first aid supplies, over-the-counter medicines and personal hygiene products in a stockpile to help them through whatever disaster is happening.

When I started my stockpile I purposely put shelves up in my basement because if we had a natural disaster like a tornado then my stockpile should be safe for us to use.  I also have a stockpile of supplies such as water and first aid supplies in my garage in case we had a earthquake and we couldn't get to the basement.

There are many reasons to stockpile, the main one being to ensure you never pay more than the lowest price possible for each item you buy.  You need to stock up on it when it's free or super cheap and have enough to last you until the next great sale.  But stockpiling also allows you to save up for disasters and to donate.

I have learned a few things from watching these shows that I need to improve on:
 - Water, water, water.  All my containers that can hold water need to be in my preparedness kit.
 - To work towards stockpiling foods that can be eaten without needing to be heated and can store for a long time
 - To look towards being able to grown my own food, have a garden and learn how to harvest seeds from the garden to replant later

GO HERE if you would like to learn more about the TLC show Livin For The Apocalypse. There are defiantly some good tips on learning to prepare for any disaster.

Candy Coupons

I had posted earlier about this being the time of year to stockpile candy and that all the best sales begin.  It's also the time you need to print all the candy coupons you see and then hold on to them for a sale.  Most all the name brand candy will go on sale in the next few weeks so your bound to find a great sale to pair the coupon with.  To get you started GO HERE to print the coupon you see above.

Time to start stockpiling candy

This is the time of year that the candy sales come up and I start stockpiling candy to give out at Halloween. My goal is to get it all free so I will have to see if I make it this year.  Last year I didn't make my goal because I didn't start early enough. So I wanted to make this quick post to pass this tip along. Buy now, save now and have a smile on your face while you pass out free candy to your trick or treaters.  And if your thinking your going to hold on to your coupons and use them for after Halloween candy sales, think again.  Those nasty manufacturers almost always put a 10/31 expiration date on them.  :(

P&G Rebate Form

Spend $50, between 9/1/11 and 10/31/11, on Venus Olay, Secret, Cover Girl, Clairol, Pantene, Safeguard and/or Ivory, and get a  $10 Proctor & Gamble Rebate.  Plus Proctor & Gamble will donate $10 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.  I've done these rebate many times and it's easy to rack up the $50 and I've highlighted on my coupon the price it rang up, even though I used coupons to get it free or received ECB or RR. GO HERE to view and print the form.

Want to go Dumpster Diving???

Every once in a while there are dumpsters in front of the old Walmart on the West side full of newspapers. I drove by there today and they are jam packed!  If you need to get some coupon inserts this would be a great place to go.  The dumpsters are full so I anticipate they will be moved by Monday, so go ASAP.

Now these are not dumpsters you climb in, just reach your hand in and grab some inserts.

Here's my disclaimer: I do not own these dumpsters so I certainly can't give you permission to take inserts.  You do so on your own.

My Target Trip

I went to the North park Target tonight.  If you were lucky enough to print the $5 off any Merona bottom then you can get anything on this rack for $.48!!!  I was able to get myself a pair of pants and a pair for my sister-in-law (which she will get for Christmas).  I didn't even post about this great coupon because when I saw it posted online I immediately printed it and then went to my second computer and found it was already gone.  So I only got 2 prints but that got me 2 pairs of pants for under $1!

I paid less than $1 for 2 pairs of pants and a shirt.  The pants were $5.48 and I used the $5 off coupon.  The shirt is a maternity shirt, Liz Lange, and I used the $3 off coupon STILL AVAILABLE HERE and the shirt was priced around $2.50 so I had overage or so I thought...
for some reason on the shirt I didn't the overage and the $3 coupon was priced down???  Next time I will pay better attention for that but I'm still very happy with the purchase.  You can't beat getting 3 new pairs of clothing for less than $1.

New Coupon Booklet from P&G

GO HERE to request your FREE P&G coupon booklet.  You do need to be a member or sign up which is quick and free to do.

No coupons this weekend

Sad to say but there will be no coupons in this Sunday's paper.  Usually there are no coupons in a holiday paper.  But there will be tons of sales.  If your in the market for furniture or mattresses...this is your weekend.  Baumbergers on Morgan Ave is going out of business this weekend and they should have some pretty good deals.  I'm so sad this business is ending.  I knew someone who worked there and they just got hit so hard with the recession.

My Target Trip

I can not find my camera to show you the pictures of all I got.  And I did really well at Target this week and I wanted to show you guys what you can get. So I'm just going to do my best to tell you about it.

First I got 6 packages of Up & Up pantyliners for FREE with the $.75 off Target Coupon and they were marked on clearance at $.75.

I got 4 more packages of Papermate pens for FREE with the $1 off target coupon that reset.

I got a cute pair of toddler denim shorts for FREE with $.75 overage.  So Target paid me to buy those shorts! I used the $2 off any infant/kids denim Target coupon.

I also got 2 pairs of denim boys jeans for $.24 each with the $2 off any infant/kids denim Target coupon.

And to top if off, I got 4 swimsuits coverup dresses in the girl's department and Target paid me $.75 each to buy them.  AWESOME.  I used the $3 off Xhiliration apparel Target coupon. I had so much overage that I had to buy a candy bar at the checkout to soak it up. YUM!  I should have gotten gum instead, I am on a diet!!!

So, all these coupons are or were at Target.com.  I went to the North Park Target.  There is tons of clearance in every department.  I always hold on to my clothing coupons and check the clearance racks every time I go and this time it paid off.

I also planned to get my FREE Visine but the North park Target did not have it in their travel sections.  Just a heads up.

I loved my cashier.  Target always has a bunch of men working after 5pm so I had the pick of 4 different male cashiers...lucky me!  My cashier was a young man who had dreams himself of being on the show Extreme Couponing. He was so diligent to make sure each one of my coupons scanned which I greatly appreciated.
