Happy Halloween!!!
It's Halloween and also the last day of the month. So print those coupons and refill those ink cartridges for all the new coupons coming our way in the next few days.
$.50 off Clabber Girl Baking Powder Coupon
Smartsource has a $.50/1 Clabber Girl coupon which will equal pretty cheap baking powder when doubled. There should also be some good sales on baking products coming up with the holiday season. I'd defiantly print this one quick and wait for a sale.
Get 40 Photo Prints free from Walgreens
I just did this deal myself and everything thing went through fine. Go HERE to upload 40 or more prints at Walgreens.com that are 4 X 6. At checkout use the coupon code DRUGSTORE40 which will deduct $7.60 from your total. I uploaded only 40 prints and my total was $0 at checkout. You have until 11/1/2011 to do this deal.
Just a tip, I'm taking advantage of every photo deal available to create photo album gifts for Christmas gifts. My only cost is the album.

$1 off any Zarbees product
I use this brand with my kids because it's all natural and available at our local drug stores. Go HERE to coupons.com to print a $1 off coupon. Use zip code 30044. As I'm writing this I'm home sick with a fever with one kid who has bronchitis and the other has a stomach virus. So being a couponer and stockpiling really helps that I don't have to go out with a fever to go get medicine and I bought what I had when I could get it FREE. I have 4 bottles of the Zarbees Cough syrup right now because it was on sale at Walgreens a few months back where it was free after RR and I had a coupon to turn it into a moneymaker. There will be lots of cold and cough medicine sales in the next few months.

Coupons I'm Printing Right Now
Time for Halloween
I will have my nieces spending the weekend with me and we're doing a lot of Halloween events on Saturday and Sunday. I may not get to the computer as much as I'd like with a house full of little monsters but I will get next weeks deals up. Hope you all have some spooky fun this weekend!
More FREE Pens
I found another BIC $1 off ANY stationary product coupon which will equal a free pack of pens. Go HERE to print yours. This is a Facebook coupon so you ca get 2 prints per computer and there is a print limit of 100,000 so HURRY!
Target Candy Coupons
I bought some Halloween candy at Target today and I did notice that the Target candy store coupons do not expire until 11/4/2011 which is AFTER Halloween. All the other manufacturer coupons expire on 10/31. So you might think about using these coupons for the after Halloween sale when Target will probably mark everything 50% off. I did this last year and bought candy that I used to make Christmas candy.

Free Christmas Gift Idea
I give photos for gifts alot, especially at Christmas time. There is always a ton of deals out there for them. Today I picked up my FREE 8X10 collage print from Walgreen's which I will frame and give to a family member. I'm not showing the picture because she reads my blog and I don't want to spoil the surprise. I do this throughout the year and usually get about 6 to 10 of these done by the end of the year. That over $30 is savings.
My Walgreens trip today
These snack and fun size bags of candy were on sale with the in-ad coupon for $1.99 each at Walgreens with a limit of 4. Go HERE to get a $1 off 1 bag which made them $.99 each for me. The Walgreens on Morgan Ave. had plenty in stock and there was no sign on them (which is probably why they had so many). If your store is out, just price match at Walmart. Great price for Halloween!
My Buehlers Trip and my $.75 Planters Peanut Butter
I wish I had better news to report but I really couldn't find any amazings deals to pass on to you. The Thanksgiving food sales are coming up and knowing that I did not buy much of anything at Buehlers even though it's double coupon week. It's just that their everyday price is too high. They do have some good sales this week but not with a good coupon match-up. If you find some good deals, please leave a comment below. When I did the math, I was better off using my coupons at Walmart even though they would not double. But I did find some neat things. First of all the Morgan Ave. store had this cute setup for kids in the baby aisle:
I think they have been doing a story time or something but my lttle guy loved this area.
There's my little guy. He was in the middle of "doing some business". Thank goodness Buehlers has a public bathroom. I get tired of changing diapers in the car all the time.
What I did find at Buehlers was a lot of tearpad coupons. I usually take a few and then wait for the item to go on sale. I did buy my fresh fruit and veggies I needed for the week and a package of store band diapers which were on sale for $5.99.
Here I found these awesome $.75 Planters peanut butter in the 16.3 oz containers. They were $2.79 at Buehlers and the coupon does exclude doubling. I took 16 of these coupons but there were about 40 on the pad and plenty left for whoever needs them. So as the frugal shopper I took the coupons and went to Walmart where the same product was priced $1.98. The east side Walmart was completely sold out but I did find the shelves full at the west side Walmart. But Walgreens has this peanut butter on sale for 2 for $3. So I took my ad and price matched it at Walmart with no problem which made each jar $1.50.
I bought 16 jars of Planters peanut butter for around $.75 each. This peanut butter will get used this Christmas for no bake cookies, peanut butter kisses cookies and lots of PB&J sandwhiches! The rumour is also that the price of peanut butter is suppose to go up sharply in the next month or so and stockpiling is the smart way to save money on this product.

Walmarts New price Guarantee Program
Walmart is really wanting to get competitive for this Christmas season by releasing a new program to guarantee their customers that they will get the lowest price at their store. To learn more about this program go HERE. More or less it says that if you buy a product and it goes on sale at another store they will give you a gift card for the price difference. The only bad part about it is it excludes Black Friday and online prices. But Walmart does price match competitor ads so you still have that option.

Another FREE Gift Idea for Christmas
You can get the gift basket above for FREE after rebate and it would make a nice gift this Christmas for a teacher, friend or family member. There is actually a choice of 2 different baskets. Go HERE to place one of the baskets in your shopping cart and after you put in your zipcode you will get FREE shipping. The baskets are $9 each and the tax is $.63 so the total will be $9.63. The basket comes with a year subscription to Allure magazine. When your basket arrives, find the card enclosed and you can fill out a rebate form HERE to chose to have a $9.99 rebate instead of the magazine subscription which will make this basket FREE with overage. I submitted for mine today and a lucky couponer will win this at my next coupon class!!!
Anybody want some Target Baby Coupons???
I have an assortment of baby Target Store coupons that I'm not going to use and expire on 11/16. It ranges from baby food to baby toys and can be stacked with a manufacturers coupon. I have 22 coupons. The first person to email me at marymwirtz@yahoo.com can have them. Just let me know the address you want them mailed to you and I'll send them your way on Monday.
New Hasbro Coupon
Playsaver.com has a bunch of new high value toy coupons up. Go HERE to check them all out. You can click on "skip registration" and then you can go straight to printing out coupons. My coupons printed with an 11/4/2011 expiration date so unfortunately you can't pair them with Black Friday sales. I would watch all the stores sales flyer in the next few weeks to see if someplace has the item you want and then you can stack the sale price with the coupon. Great for Christmas presents!!!
Couponing Class coming soon?
It's about that time for another coupon class. I'm looking at doing it on November 12th, Saturday in the afternoon. I'm debating with myself whether to do another Introduction to Couponing or a new class. The new class I'm thinking of will be Couponing to Christmas and will focus on using couponing and rebate programs to get gifts for all your family and friends super cheap or FREE. I also want to highlight how to build a stockpile during the Black Friday sales at our local drug stores with the amazing coupon deals that will be offered. So please post a comment here to let me know your thoughts. Do you need a Couponing 101 or a Couponing to Christmas???

20 FREE print from Kodak
Pictures make for great gifts for Christmas. There should be lots of great deals. Go HERE to request a coupon to be emailed to you for 20 free photo prints from your Facebook account. You need to choose a retailer to pick the prints up from and CVS and Target are 2 of them.
We will get 2 inserts this Sunday
We should get a Smartsource and a Red Plum coupon insert. To see what coupons might be in each one go HERE.
Rare Annies Coupon

Lots of Fisher Price Coupons Up
Fisher Price has released a few high value toy coupons which don't expire until 12/31! My advice is to print now and wait for a sale, maybe even a Black Friday sale. These coupons will not last long. Go HERE to check them out!
$5 off Transformer coupon
Here's a great deal for a future Christmas present. Go HERE to print a $5 off coupon for Transformers Dark of the Moon toys. It's being reported on blogs that Target has a character set on sale for $6.99 which would make it $1.99 after the coupon. It would make a neat stocking stuffer for that little boy in your life or to donate to a charity.
Palmer's Cocoa Butter for $.17 at Walmart
Go HERE to Palmers website and join their community in order to receive a $2 off coupon via email. That coupon can be used on the swivel stick above which Walmart carries (hopefully our Walmarts do as well). You will first need to join their community which is FREE and then go back to the home page. Once there scroll to the bottom on the page and click on promotions. There will be 2 options for coupons and you want the one on the top for the face product. The coupon will then be emailed to you.

My KROGER Shopping Trip
I finally drove over to Owensboro today and made my first shopping trip through the aisles of Kroger. I did not prepare for the trip like I normally do. I just brought all my coupons with me and went up and down every aisle looking for deals. Of course I can't find my camera again so I will post the pictures later. I first have to say that it was so much fun to shop in a new store and plot out all my deals. My savings was over $140 and this was a small unplanned trip. So I'm pretty excited to see what I can do in the future when I take the time to plan it out.
Here's the nitty gritty on couponing at Kroger:
- Coupons $.50 and under will double unless they state otherwise
- Go to Customer Service to get a Kroger Plus card which you can use to upload digital coupons (I did my trip without digital coupons because I did not have any uploaded)
- The digital coupons on your card are manufacturer coupons and can not be stacked with your paper coupons. They also will not double. So if you have the option of having a paper $.50 coupon or less then you are better off to use it and not the digital coupon
- Kroger has lots of catalina deals which increases your savings. I used this deal on 3 different items.
- There is no limit on "like" coupons, which is AWESOME. There is a limit on the total number of coupons in one transaction which is 250
- They do accept internet printed coupons with no trouble.
An important note on Kroger is that they have a very nice organic and specialty food section. I was very impressed. This is a great way to reduce your specialty food shopping since this store will double coupons. For example, I buy organic Almond Milk. They had my brand, Almond Breeze, on sale for $2.99 (it's $4.09 at Schnucks) and I had a $.55 coupon (which did not double because it was over $.50). This item was also on a catalina deal where if you buy 4 of them then you get a $4 catalina on a future purchase. So I bought 4 and after my coupons and the catalina my milk was $1.45 each. Great price and great savings. Pampers wipes were on sale for $2.19 and I used the $.50 coupon in the 10/2 PG to get them for $1.19. They were regularly $2.89. I got a whole lot more and as soon as I find my camera I will post pictures of my finds!

Shopping Spree...in my dreams
Do you guys ever dream of going on a shopping spree? I do. Alot. Sometimes when I can't fall asleep at night I imagine that I'm given 3 minutes to shop through a store and then plan in my head what my strategy would be. Somtimes it's a grocery store and sometimes it's a stor like Kohl's. A long, long time ago I watched an epidsode of Laverne and Shirley where they won a shopping spree at their local grocery store and my spree aspirations were born. They chose to focus on getting meat and candy. I think I also would hit the meat aisle first because it's the hardest to coupon and can be a high priced item. If I was a drinker I would probably hit the liquor aisle next but I'm not. I think I would go to the kitchen utensil section and grab pots, pans and cooking tools. This would be another thing I wouldn't be able to coupon and has a high value. My last grab would probably be Ben and Jerry's ice cream. I'm not a big fan of it but my husband loves it and I rarely buy it since it's so expensive. So it would make his day to have a freezer full. The next time you can't fall asleep at night, try this trick and see if it works for you. If not then at least you would entertain yourself while your not sleeping. Good Night!
$1.98 Johnson and Johnson Shampoo
Use this coupon HERE to get a bottle of Johnson and Johnson Baby Shampoo for $1.98 at Walmart. There are not a lot of coupons like this throughout the year so this is actually a pretty good deal for this brand.

Sorry I haven't posted much
I had a craft show in Boonville Friday through Sunday and I'm exhausted. I met a lot of great people, had fun with my family and made some extra cash. So I'm back to get some deals posted. I do not post many online deals on my blog because they go so fast and it's frustrating for people when they want the deal and the campaign is over or the coupon is out of print, BUT Christmas season is coming and there will be many deals to be had online. As the Thanksgiving Black Friday sales begin I will post what I come across on the blog. There are also a lot of great blogs out there that focus just on this shopping season. So check back to get more information.
Still not double coupon week at Buehlers
I was hoping with Buehler IGA's grand opening that they would start off with a bang and do a double coupon week but I do not see it on their weekly ad this week. I think I just might pay the gas to go over the bridge to Owensboro to get my double coupon fix. Oh well.

Black Friday is 44 days away
Are you one of the those crazy people standing in line at 4:30 am in front of Walmart to get a 40 inch flat screen TV for $200? Last year I was and I'm pretty sure I'm not doing it ever again. But if you plan on braving the crowds for awesome deals then check out this great resource HERE. You can "like" them on Facebook and get updates when any store has released or leaked their Black Friday sales ad. There are already some stores listed. They also keep you up to date on all the online deals which were pretty awesome last year. The only stores I will be hitting on Black Friday is CVS, Walgreens and Rite Aid for my couponing deals and I will post more on that later. Honestly, I Christmas shop all year with all the online, coupon, rebate and in-store deals that I get. As it stands right now, I have everybody checked off my Christmas present shopping list but 2 people.
More information on Buehlers
I heard back from Buy-Low (oops, sorry it's Buehlers IGA now) and they will continue to do double coupon weeks but they will not always be the second week of the month. It will be random. All I care is that they are still going to offer that program. I hope they have one soon. I'm itching for some savings.

Changes at Buy-Low
I went to the Buy-Low on First Ave. today to get an ad since they are not up online and I found out it is not double coupon week. I did talk to the manager there to get more information about it. In the past it has always been the second week in the month and the manager said she does not get any advance notice of when the double week will be, only when she receives a copy of the next weeks ad and sees it on there. Buy-Low is also no longer Buy-Low, it's Buehlers IGA. You will see a change in all the logo's, website, storefronts and the ads. They have also changed the cards you swipe at checkout. You either need to take your card to customer service and they will change it for you or you can do it online at www.myiga.com/nozz. The change on ownership is also the reason I could not get the ad to come up since it is now located on another site. To see this weeks ad GO HERE. The new card works like the old one where you earn cents off gasoline but now you will also receive coupons and special discounts mailed to you. You can also "like" them online now at www.facebook.com/buehlersiga
So I'm not too sure about the IGA change. I'm worried that the double coupon week will not continue but we shall see what their ad says next week. If anyone is a Buehlers IGA employee and has more insight, please leave a comment below. The manager I spoke too did not seem to know too much of what was going on.
Ok, so when you go to view the new IGA website there are a few new features that couponers will appreciate. One is that you now print coupons. These are manufacturer coupons . It also has a grocery list option with the online ad. You can select certain on sale items to go to your grocery list. You do need to register with their site to use this feature.
Also, every Buehlers is having a Kids Fest this Sat. from 10 - 2pm where they will have inflatables, free games and prizes.

Free Child ID App
I came across this FREE app on itunes that is a child's ID in case the unthinkable happens. It's a free download for the iphone and allows you to have a picture of your child and the info saved and accessible for law enforcement. There is also some useful tips on keeping your child safe. I have a son with autism so this is going to be great for me. Wandering is something any parent worries about but especially if you have a special needs child. GO HERE to download the app and learn more about it.
Double Coupon Week at Buy-Low
It should be double coupon week at Buy-Low but I couldn't tell you for sure because their weekly sales ad online is down and I can't get it to come up to give you the coupon match-ups. I also don't get an ad in my mailbox because I live in Wadesville so I'm waiting for the site to work. Maybe the link will work for you. GO HERE to see the ad (or not).

Another idea on the Covergirl coupon
A while back I posted about the P&G rebate when you purchase $50 in products. Covergirl is included in that promotion. So if you got several of the $8/2 Covergirl face product coupons and use them to get free products, you can use that to go towards the $50 purchase to submit for the rebate. This makes a sweet, cheap deal even sweeter and a bigger moneymaker!!! GO HERE to view and print the rebate form.

We got 5 of the 6 inserts!!! I ended up going to the Dollar Tree this morning and bought 4 more papers on top of the one I had delivered this morning. I was feeling coupon greedy this morning. I can't wait to put these to good use.
New Store Coupons At Walgreens
I saw this Booklet in the vitamin aisle at Walgreens and it has $75 in store coupons that can be paired with manufacturers coupon and they do not expire until December ( I think, might have to double check that). I would grab a couple of these and wait for a sale if I was you!!! Cold and Flu season is coming up and that's the time to stockpile over the counter meds because there will lots of sales and coupons.
