Coupons.com has a $.75 coupon which may disappear tonight (so print right now) and Walmart has them priced at $1.97. My price point is $1.50 so I bought up at this price. My Walmart Shopping Trip

So my subtotal was $85.52 before coupons and $48.62 after for a savings of $36.90. I spent one hour today printing coupons, making my list and going through past coupons. The way I see it, my hobby of couponing paid me $36.90 today!

Summer couponing

I've been on a hiatus from the drug store couponing because I stockpiled so much from the Black Friday sales that I could afford the break. But now summer is here and it's time to get back to it. The new season if Extreme Couponing airs tonight on TLC. This show has made it so much harder for us as couponers but yet I still like watching the show. I just wish they could focus more on realistic couponing for a change. So will you guys be watching tonight?

Free weed killer

I picked up 2 bottles of weed killer for free today with this coupon that I posted about last week. The coupon beeped because of the overage but the cashier told me it was it was for a larger size. I pointed out that the coupon says "any" and she over-rided it. I love coupons that say "any!"

There will be a RedPlum, a SmartSource and a P&G insert in Sundays papers. And the P&G coupons will not expire until 6/30! So it's a great week to get your papers.

My yard sale find

I got all these wire organization racks yesterday at a church sale for $2. I plan to organize my pantry stockpile with these.

Do you ever buy coupons?  I do all the time which I find necessary to get those higher value coupons that don't come in our local paper.  One of my favorite sites to order from, Coupon Cutters, is having a half price sale today only.  Go HERE to check out their selection.  My favorite coupon is the $2/1 Nivea lotion which will equal FREE travel size at Walmart.  I like to put these in gift baskets.  I also picked up Colgate coupons because Colgate in never featured in our market. You can also order from that Pepsico insert too but beware that they expire soon.

Old Navy Clearance Deals

My neice told me that she was able to get 6 pieces of clothing, including a dress for under $25 at Old Navy.  All their red-lined clearance is an additonal 40% off the lowest price.  I'm not sure how long this sale will last but if you need to look for some clothing gifts for Christmas or winter birthdays you might be able to score a good deal.
